Just decided to troll Youtube, and this popped up as a suggestion. What an awesome job this person did...

Indeed. It reminds me of an old WW2 sub I used to play with in my neighbor's pool when I was little. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was ever going to come to this site anymore. It's gone VERY quiet.

It's gone too quiet. I've been checking but I haven't had a whole lot to say lately. My brain has been in work mode too much lately.

Mine is certainly winding down to summer. The last few weeks of school are upon us, and I'm in the push to get them ready for exams at the moment. Then, I'm off to vacation with the wife for two weeks, so I'm definitely "elsewhere" right now. We watched Crossroads, Part II last weekend, and I forgot who much actually went on. The wife and I haven't watched Season 4 since we first saw it, and we have a renewed feeling to see it again. I'm hoping to get the painting framed very soon (helloooo Joann gift cards...lol), but other than that, there isn't really any BSG stuff on the horizon (that I'm aware of), besides getting my stuff from Kevin.

I saw Alec's post about having a few of the paintings left so I bit the bullet and bought one today. After reading through the threads @ the propworx forum re: framing and the cost, it'll be a while before I get it framed.

Kevin's stuff seems to be pretty good. I have a set of his triad cards and they are look great.

Yeah, I had to barter with my buddy at Joann's with a bottle of my homemade limoncello to get it on the stretch frame, and gift cards will do 80% of the rest. It is just too expensive otherwise. You won't regret the purchase. I've got quite a few things from Kevin, and will be picking up a Watch Log and pin set soon. The pin set is for the wife, who is a flag nut. It's her flag that's hanging in here to the right of the Cylon War painting, not mine. LOL

You're lucky. My wife never got into BSG. She watched season 4, but mostly because I was watching and not because she was becoming a fan.

But with V, heck she watched the 1st half of tonight's episode without me. So there's hope.

I don't know about V. I just can't get into it very much. No character is given enough backstory that makes me understand or empathize with them. The copious amount of green screen is driving me nuts. I feel like screaming at the t.v. and yelling, "Make a frakkin' set, why don't you?!!!" I find that once Lost is done I head to the computer, and sometimes come out to watch. The character that I guess took the place of Michael Ironside from the original...don't know his name, but he just sucks. I guess I'm just ranting....LOL

The Ironside character is Booth, but yeah, I don't know what they're doing with him either. Double agent, lone wolf, now has some woman who he cares about after admonishing the ret of the group for having attachments? Ugh. Then the resurrection of the Doctor Joshua, for what? Not to mention killing off the mother of the V/human hybrid. They still haven't dealt with how the other FBI embedded V (Rekha Sharma from BSG) is ranked in comparison to Erica. Then the green screen...the way they are using it for the mothership does make the whole production look like one of SyFy's cheap monster movies. They could have at least hired BSG's effects crew.
