Anders makes a quick cameo on V

So Anders (I mean Michael Trucco) made a brief appearance on V as the infamous "John May" last night. I mean brief because not long after he gets screen time it's revealed that Ryan is the one who killed John May on Anna's orders. Then poof, he's gone. His step-son didn't even try to take a crack at Ryan after he says -- to the kids face -- that he killed his step-dad. The explanation of what happened seems kind of rushed, like a lot of the episode, and I can't believe that the humans just take Ryan at his word that he's a 5th column member and not some deep V sleeper just waiting to crush the resistance.

I understand the network wanted the show to move at a faster pace than the first 4 episodes but IMHO I think they're moving a bit too quickly. BSG had its issues too, but I never felt that an episode was rushed, even "Black Market."

My wife about jumped off the couch and started licking the screen when she saw him on "V" The show just went, for her, from a "let's try and catch it" to "let's plan our night around it" sort of thing because of Trucco. LOL

His resume looks great now...John May. Great role to get! It is a very good series, we plan our Tuesday night around it.

I just hope the role wasn't just a one-off and that he wasn't actually killed. It's a possibility, I think, simply because the way the show has been going I think they would have shown a flashback of Ryan killing John May if it had actually happened in the story.

I don't remember, but on IMDB it says he played a character named Ham Tyler. I need to re-watch V the final battle to see if that character would be the John May equivalent. There was a character in V named John, who was in the resistance, but he was on the mothership, sort of like the Joshua character in the new V.

Ham Tyler was Ironsides character. He was a human freedom fighter/killer for hire and had a partner named Chris Faber. John was actually the Supreme Commander of the Visitors and was not a fifth column...you are thinking of Martin (played by Frank Ashmore who also played Ortega on the original Battlestar Galactica) who also played his own brother Philip (also fifth column) in the series.

I have seen V TOS many times since night one the miniseries came on in '83.

When Kyle Hobbes was introduced, I figured he's the Ham Tyler character--the military/tactical expert.

Right. Kyle is the Ham Tyler character now. That is what I was thinking too. Maybe mixed with Donovan a bit.

And our own Captain Kelly was on the latest episode of V. He's making the rounds; he was on "Human Target," too.

I know what a great ending! It's...Captain Kelley, the brig rat. Too cool, its going from V to BSV quickly.

I'm just waiting for the FBI character that Rekha Sharma is playing to show her inner lizard by taking someone up to the mother ship and tossing them out of an airlock.
