My Bucket and Beast Empty My Bucket and Beast

I decided to step away from the computer screen for a little bit and try some imaging with a new camera lens my father-in-law has loaned me. I took a picture of my Beast and Bucket in front of the garage...

My Bucket and Beast DSC_0004-6

This has been my hobby for 16 years now, and this is my first attempt at using this lens. I took a quick snapshot of the Orion Nebula, which was already pretty low in the South West. The light pollution is getting to be an issue, whereas five years ago there was hardly any development in the area. The following image was taken with my Nikon D60 and a Quantaray 500mm lens, 45 second exposure.

Kind of ironic I went outside to take photos to get off the computer, but yet here I am posting some pics.... Rolling Eyes

Cheers,

Guy
