Doctor Who

Anyone see the first episode of the new series?

Unfortunately, I don't have BBC-America, so when they moved the Doctor to that station, I missed the five final David Tennant films. I've caught three on DVD and am waiting for "The End of Time" to come out.

However, I love the show. I never watched the older versions when I was a kid and decided to try these. I got a couple of friends hooked on them, too. I've thought about showing one to my Film class--perhaps "Blink."

Well the writer of 'blink' Steven Moffat is now the main writer/producer on this series so it should be interesting. The previews show the 'weeping angels' will be back for an episode this series as well which should be good!

Oh that's not right. Over here the first episode doesn't come out until the 17th of this month.....

If it makes you feel better. I've only seen the first episode and I'm leaving the country next week so I won't see any more until I'm home in July.....

JULY!!!!???? Holy frak, dude....Can you even get online at all? I know that's certainly become a bit easier the past few years on big cruise ships, or are you going to drop off the radar until then?

GO FIGURE!!! I've got BBC America on right now and a freaking Doctor Who commercial just aired. LOL

We have the ability to get online but its slow at times and expensive so sadly I will be less vocal on the boards as it were... I'll be checking in when I can and will endeavour to answer PM's promptly if anyone is desperate to get in touch (unlikely I know but I still live in hope there are people out there dying to sell to me!)

My wonderful girlfriend will be recording Doctor Who for me while I'm away along with Lost, Caprica, The Prisoner remake and a number of other things...
