There is just a wealth of stuff on ASAP, and until Anovos starts up, this is the best chance to find replica pins and patches.

My old stomping grounds. I used to post there before Propworx forum and had seen you there too Guy. You pretty much covered it, Frank (MJF) and Adam (Allupo/Colonial Quartermaster) on ASAP had/have the best pins. There are some great cubits (paper and coin), Triad cards, flags, watch logs, ect on those boards. The only other place that make decent pins is Galron http://www.shopgalronmfg.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=shopgalron&Category_Code=O a bit more cartoonish colored but well made (and they have a ensign pin).

They also make custom dogtags. Check them out.-C

I thought QMX was the official maker of the dogtags? Galron had some issues on the Propworx forum, under the cover of another member name. It was pretty well established that one of the members was indeed Galron, and selling/promoting his own merchandise. I bought one set of Sr. Lt. pins from them when I was a bit desperate, since MJF wasn't doing them anymore. I regretted getting them, and have since given them to my neighbor, who cares much less about the overall quality.

On the plus side, I made a request to Kevin Ericon, who does some fantastic replica stuff, to come join us on the board as a means to communicate future projects. I've bought many of his replica cubits, which are quite good.

Cheers,

Guy

Yeah, Kevin is the one who sells on ASAP and ebay for the flags, cubits, cards, logs, etc.

Wasn't aware that Galron had gotten into trouble on the Propworx site. I haven't heard anything bad about their tags. There is mixed opinion about the pin quality, I think they are the wrong color but not the worse by any stretch. The dealers on ebay with their REALLY cheap pins aren't the worst either! There is a replica company that started years ago they made resin pins, award pins as well, they are the biggest bunch of frakkin crap around.-C
